21st Annual Korean Festival!

Honolulu Hale Civic Grounds

(530 S King St, Honolulu, HI 96813)

Free parking will be available all day at City & County of Honolulu parking lots. These lots include Honolulu Hale (enter from Beretania), King Kamehameha Statue (entrance from Punchbowl) and the Board of Water Supply (entrance from Punchbowl) Parking lots.


The event features flavorful Korean foods, various Kids and Family Activities, and non stop stage entertainment. Free festival parking will be available at Honolulu Hale and surrounding parking lots.  

The festival is proud to announce a partnership with one of the biggest entertainment companies in Korea - PLEDIS, a subsidiary of the HYBE Corporation. Current popular PLEDIS artists include Seventeen, TWS and fromis9. PLEDIS is looking for talent in Hawaii and will be collaborating with the Korean Festival to find Hawaii’s next star. HYBE recently discovered Honolulu born and raised Megan Skiendel, who is now a member of the KPOP group “Katseye”. PLEDIS will be hosting a KPOP contest with live performances from 4:30pm - 6:00pm at the Korean Festival. 

The festival will close the day with a KPOP Celebration by Moobek (aka DJ Y.U.P) and Yumi. Moobek is an award winning hip hop and EDM producer, while Yumi is a singer and dance instructor. They will be headlining a 2 hour KPOP Celebration with seven special guests. These guests include actors and actresses from popular shows such as Hawaii Five-O, Rescue Hi-Surf and Too Hot to Handle.

Kukkiwon, the World’s central governing body for Taekwondo will be bringing a Demonstration Team to perform.

Kimchi and a jjajangmyeon (Korean-Chinese black bean noodle) eating contest! This year, the contest is welcoming Competitive Eater Raina Huang (@rainaiscrazy). She will be participating in all the contests. Contestants are taken on a first come, first serve basis. 

Other entertainment on stage include the Arang Go Go Janggu Team, Hawaii-based KPOP Dance Groups, Taekwondo Hawaii, Korean Farmers Music Association, Halla Huhm and much more. 

The festival will be filled with food stalls, such as Kimchi, Korean Pancake, Kalbi, Mandoo, Korean BBQ Chicken and many more for attendees to enjoy.
